Payments

Once registered for any of The EA Institute’s services, we will send your tax invoice and confirmation email within 48 hours. If payment is not made at the time of booking, an invoice will be sent which is payable 14 days from the date of booking. All payments must be received by the event date. We reserve the right to refuse admission to the event if payment has not been received.

Cancellations, Credits and Substitutions

In the event you are unable to attend the event or service you are registered for, a replacement delegate may be sent or allocated in your place as agreed with the EA Institute at no penalty. Should you wish to cancel your registration, we will provide a full credit to be used for another of The EA Institute’s service or event, provided we receive written notice no later than 7 days from the event.

Your credit must be used within 12 months of the cancelled event/service. No credits will be issued within 7 days of the event/service or in the event of non-attendance on the day. There will be no refunds given, unless cancelled by The EA Institute, where registration fees are fully refundable. In the event The EA Institute needs to cancel or change the date of an event we will notify you as soon as possible. The events, information, and speakers listed on our Sites are subject to change without notification.

The EA Institute will endeavour to ensure that services and events advertised at the time of booking is correct. The EA Institute reserves the right to alter the program or venue prior to the event due to circumstances beyond our control, in which case we will update the event webpage as soon as possible. We also reserve the right to cancel or postpone an event due to an unforeseen circumstance, Act of God or other circumstance which would make the running of the event impossible, illegal or impractical. Act of God circumstances include but are not limited to flood, fire, war, extreme weather or other emergencies and the EA Institute will not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from alteration, postponement or cancellation of event/service.

Game of Chance Terms and Conditions

SUMMARY

  2. This promotion is a game of chance. It is free to enter, and each eligible entry has an equal chance of winning.
  3. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry to the promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

PARTICIPATION

  1. Entries open from 1:00pm NSW local time on 15 April 2024 and close at 11:59pm NSW local time on 21 April 2024 (“Promotion Period”).
  2. Employees of the Promoter are ineligible to enter the promotion, as are their immediate families.
  3. To enter the promotion, an entrant must have completed the form conducted by the Promotor and elected to enter the prize draw by providing their name and email address during the Promotion Period.
  4. An entrant’s submission must not be late, incomplete, incomprehensible or in violation of any of the Promotor’s policies or any laws.
  5. Entry to the promotion is limited to one (1) entry per person.
  6. If there is a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity or eligibility of the entrant or the validity of an entry. In the event that the winner cannot provide suitable proof of eligibility, they will forfeit the prize and no substitution or compensation will be offered.
  7. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter (not the time of transmission). The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or for delays or failures in any telecommunications services or equipment.
  8. The Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, declare an entry to be invalid if that entry has not been submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or where the entrant has engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.

WINNERS

  1. An entrant is eligible to win the prize if they are 18 years old and over, an Executive Assistant or similar and a resident of Australia.
  2. There will be fifteen (15) winners. The winners will be randomly drawn by the Promotor at 2pm NSW local time on 22 April 2024.
  3. The winners will be notified via email within five (5) working days of the judge’s decision.
  4. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winners and deliver the prizes. However, if the prize is not claimed by 26 April 2024, it will be redrawn, and the winner of an unclaimed prize will be notified via email.

PRIZE

1. Each winner will win one (1) ticket to Business Chicks Office Professionals Day in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane valued at $149.00. The prize cannot be exchanged or transferred and is not redeemable for cash.

2. If the prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.

GENERAL

  1. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to enable them to participate in this Promotion. The Promoter may disclose the entrants’ personal information to third parties including its service providers to assist in conducting this Promotion and awarding the prize. If the entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they may be ineligible to enter or claim a prize in the Promotion. The Promoter’s privacy policy https://www.theeainstitute.com.au/privacy-policy/ contains information about how the Promoter handles personal information, including how entrants can access and correct their information or make a privacy complaint.

    2. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

    3. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
