About The EA Institute
The EA Institute exists to shift how the administration profession is seen, valued, and respected.
We believe Executive Assistants and Administrators are not “support” roles. They are professionals with judgement,
influence, and responsibility, and they deserve clear standards, real opportunity, and recognition for the work they do.
The Institute was founded after recognising a persistent gap in the profession. Many EAs operate at a high level but are
overlooked, under-recognised, or unsure how to articulate their value. Access to mentorship, strategic exposure, and
professional development has often been inconsistent, or reserved for the lucky few.
The EA Institute was created to change that.
Our work is grounded in practical experience and behavioural understanding, translating what high-performing EAs actually do
into clear capability, language, and professional standards. We equip EAs with the confidence, tools, and external credibility
needed to have a seat at the table and to stand behind their contribution.
Since launching, The EA Institute has empowered thousands of Executive Assistants across Australia and the APAC region through
structured programs, in-house training for major organisations, and industry-recognised certification. We were early pioneers in
training EAs in practical AI skills and continue to lead conversations about the future of the profession.
Today, our work spans professional certification, future-focused learning, community, and recognition. This includes the
Executive Assistant Professional Certification, AI capability programs, and the APAC Admin Awards, alongside partnerships with
organisations such as Corporate Traveller.
Everything we do is driven by one goal.
To create a profession where Executive Assistants are recognised, respected, and taken seriously for the value they bring.
We are here to set the standard for the EA profession.
